An amazing landscape that needs to be visited by everyone atleast once in the lifetime I would say. A landscape with no native trees, with horses that have a hairstyle, with icebergs on beaches, with 100x more sheep than people, with a land that’s alive – a literal Fire and Ice landscape.

Of Cities and Landscapes, of History and Geography, of Distilleries and Castles, of Kilts and Scotches and so much more…

From the peaceful buddhists to the harsh landscapes, and the contrasting colors of blue skies, white snows, brown sands and green valleys.

The longest and the highest trek of my life – one more dream fulfilled!

The bright colors and patterns, along with the hospitality and friendliness of the traditional hand-weaving community near Hyderabad, bowled me over.

An arts and crafts village located in Hyderabad, the village was conceived with an idea to preserve traditional crafts.

The yearly pilgrimage! Climbed the stairs up the mountains this time, with company to boot!

The majestic fort, smack in the middle of Hyderabad city, is both an engineering marvel and an amazing amalgam of Hindu-Islamic architecture.

Havasu Falls has to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Cool turquoise waters forming oasis in a hot red desert, surrounded by green vegetation – Heaven on Earth.

The Eastern Sierra region islaced with rugged canyons carved by rushing streams, and home to some of the finest fall color viewing anywhere.

Located in San Francisco, this urban park is larger than New York’s Central Park, and has gardens, grounds, lakes, groves, trails and monuments to occupy several days!

The remote east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in California, is a rain shadow region, and forms part of the Great Basin in western U.S.

Defined as the Four Corners states (Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah), Southwest U.S. is a treasure trove of geological formations and is famous for a blazing red landscape.

The Florida Keys, are a coral archipelago in SouthEastern U.S. beginning at Miami and extending to the island of Dry Tortugas. Amazing Beaches and Sunsets are enticing throughout the year.

Visiting the desert Southwestern US in winter is a contrast of colors. The cold white snow against a blazing red sandstone is a delight to experience!

So many shades of lush green in the temperate rainforests of the Olympic Pensinsula in Northwest US! Throw in the rugged Pacific coastline and Alpine mountain tops, and you can imagine how picturesque this trip is.

Largest of the Hawaiian islands, Big Island is home to a spectacular live volcano, lush rain forests and magnificent beaches

A spectacular landscape rich with majestic mountains and pristine glacial lakes and abundant wildlife.

To be visiting a gigantic living and breathing volcano is to be reminded of how Earth has a life and cycle of it’s own.

Every autumn, the entire North-East U.S. erupts into brilliant fall colors!

Standing on super hot sand dunes below sea level, and watching the sun set on snow capped mountains – where else in the world would it be possible?

To be dwarfed by the tallest living beings on Earth is an experience indeed!
